These are polypropylene liners for men and women designed to wick away moisture helping prevent blisters. Liners increase the effectiveness of thermal socks and are normally worn under them to keep the feet warm, dry and comfortable.
In summer they can also we worn on their own as a great light-weight moisture wicking sock.
